Fallout 1+2: Free on Gametap

If you’re looking for something to do before Fallout 3’s release, GameTap has the original Fallout available as a free download. Before downloading, you just need to set up a free TapID account. I tried it out, and it only took me about 10 minutes to have the game up and running.

For folks with a Gold Account, you can also download Fallout 2.

This is nice!
I think I have to play these games to understand the hardcore fan!
It will surely be interesting to compare the old ones with the new style of FO3. As we know there should be some hints to the old games...and I want to understand them

Fallout 1 really works fine, I already tested it too.
But if someone finds a website (legal) where we can download Fallout 2 without buying a special membership, that would be much nicer

Cause I don't know if Bethesda published both Games for free. If I am wrong, tell me

Only Fallout 1 and not Bethesda. Interplay still owns the rights to sell the games.
